The house, built in stone masonry, is believed to have been originally a defence or storage tower of the existing castle. In 1962 it was recovered from ruin condition by its new owner and converted into a house, expanding to the building in front through an arched passageway over the street. Its mixed purpose program combines private family dwelling and small guest house. The new pergola planned for the roof terrace will give this neglected space some shade and amenity. A wall of vegetation growing supported on a light wood structure, will extend the existing protection to the west and provide shelter from the wind, while framing unique views overlooking the village.
